Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) Canada is a member based association dedicated to the practice and promotion of public wellness and safety through the advocation of practices regarding infection prevention and control in everyday life.
In 2021, I had the opportunity to design the IPAC Annual Report that would assist in the direction of their annual conference the following year; for the third year in a row. As materials were selected from members of the association, I began to research potential layouts to pursue that followed the requests of IPAC’s administrative team. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s conference would unfortunately have to take place on a virtual platform rather than in-person. I chose to represent the “new normal” and the health and safety measures through imagery. As this year was also the association’s 45th anniversary, I wanted to reflect ideas of nostalgia of both the near and distant past conferences by requesting images taken at these meetings to be a reflection of how the IPAC conference would be atttended normally.
